  • Kevin Casey, CEO of Wasatch Labs: experts in contract manufacturing for personal care and OTC products.

    Kevin Casey - President & CEO

    Kevin Casey earned a BS in Business Management – Operations from Brigham Young University in 1990. He began his career at Nu Skin International, where he led product and market development initiatives, helping to launch operations in Japan, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Australia, New Zealand, and Europe (1990–1995).

    In 1995, Kevin founded CasePak, Inc., specializing in packaging and product development for the personal care, food, dietary supplement, and cosmetic industries. He has led the company through steady growth over the past three decades.

    In 1997, he founded Wasatch Product Development, LLC.

    From 1998 to 2001, Kevin was the co-founder and COO of Synergy Worldwide, Inc., a direct selling company specializing in personal care and supplements. Synergy grew rapidly across the Pacific Rim and U.S. before being acquired by Nature’s Sunshine Products.

    Over his career, companies founded or co-founded by Kevin have generated over $5 Billion in combined sales.

    As of 2025, Kevin serves as President and CEO of Rhyz Manufacturing, which oversees a portfolio of companies that includes Wasatch Product Development, CasePak, 3i Solutions, and Elevate Health Sciences.

    Dan Owen - Chief Financial Officer

    Dan Owen is the Chief Financial Officer at Wasatch Product Development, bringing over 27 years of progressive experience in accounting and financial leadership. His career spans key financial roles—including accountant, controller, finance director, and CFO—across multiple industries, including manufacturing, construction, marketing, insurance, and healthcare.

    Dan is known for his ability to align financial strategy with business objectives, streamline operations, and drive profitability. His leadership has consistently resulted in improved reporting accuracy, stronger financial controls, and greater operational efficiency. At Wasatch Product Development, he plays a critical role in guiding long-term financial planning and organizational growth.

  • Sheri Utley - COO: supporting custom product formulation and contract manufacturing services.

    Sheri Utley - Chief Operating Officer

    Sheri brings over two decades of hands-on operational leadership to her role as Chief Operating Officer at Wasatch Labs. Since being promoted from Vice President of Operations—where she guided manufacturing and production processes—Sheri has focused on optimizing efficiency, ensuring quality, and scaling production capabilities.

    Her career journey at Wasatch began in 2002 as a Production Support Specialist, followed by a five-year tenure as Production Manager at USANA Health Sciences (2007–2012). She returned to Wasatch in 2012, rising to Vice President of Operations before stepping into her current strategic leadership role.

    Sheri holds an Associate’s degree and a Bachelor’s in Business Administration and Management—earned at Utah Valley University and Southern Utah University—providing a strong academic foundation for her operational expertise.

    Based in Draper, Utah, Sheri is deeply committed to fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation at Wasatch Labs. Her leadership ensures the company delivers high-quality products efficiently while maintaining operational excellence.

    Mike Talbot - Chief Revenue Officer

    Mike Talbot serves as Chief Revenue Officer at Wasatch Product Development, where he leads the company’s sales, business development, and customer growth strategy across the personal care, cosmetic, nutritional, and OTC markets. With over two decades of leadership experience in the health, wellness, and personal care industries, Mike has built a reputation for combining strategic vision with a highly relationship-driven approach to business.

    Known for his energy, responsiveness, and ability to move quickly, Mike works closely with both customers and internal teams to turn complex ideas into commercially successful products. Whether launching new partnerships, negotiating large-scale opportunities, or helping customers navigate manufacturing challenges, he brings a practical, solutions-focused mindset to every conversation.

    Mike is particularly passionate about helping brands scale efficiently while maintaining quality, speed, and transparency throughout the development process. His leadership style blends high expectations with genuine investment in people—creating strong teams and long-term customer relationships built on trust and accountability.

    Around the office, Mike is known for his quick wit, relentless pace, and refusal to let meetings become longer than they need to be. Outside of work, he’s deeply committed to his family, his faith, and convincing himself that buying another truck is somehow a “business investment.” Humans are incredible at justifying hobbies with spreadsheets.

  • Brice Pettibone, CSO - Lead scientist specializing in personal care product development and nutritional supplement manufacturing.

    Brice Pettibone - Chief Science Officer

    Brice Pettibone serves as the Chief Science Officer at Wasatch Product Development, bringing nearly 30 years of formulation expertise and a crystal-clear head—both literally and figuratively—to the bench. With a degree in Biochemistry from Brigham Young University, Brice has developed innovative and commercially successful products across the personal care, cosmetic, OTC drug, medical device, and dietary supplement categories.

    He is widely recognized for his deep technical knowledge of advanced delivery systems, including liquid crystal emulsions and lamellar liquid crystal emulsifiers—leveraging their organized structures to improve barrier function, enhance active stability, and deliver superior sensorial performance. Brice combines scientific rigor with real-world manufacturing insight, ensuring that every formulation is as practical as it is precise.

    When he’s not perfecting emulsion systems or mentoring young chemists, Brice can be found irrationally cheering for the Oregon Ducks—a team that, much like unstable emulsions, tends to break down under pressure.

  • Nick Johnstone

    Nick Johnstone - Plant Manager, Wasatch North

    Nick Johnstone serves as Plant Manager for our North manufacturing facility, overseeing operations for Wasatch Product Development’s nutritional division. With a strong background in manufacturing leadership, operations management, and team development, Nick is responsible for ensuring the facility runs efficiently, safely, and with the level of quality and consistency customers expect.

    Nick brings a hands-on leadership style to the organization, focusing on operational excellence, continuous improvement, and building strong teams that can execute in fast-paced production environments. From scheduling and process optimization to problem-solving on the plant floor, he thrives in the balance between strategy and execution.

    Known for his calm approach and ability to connect with people across every level of the organization, Nick plays a key role in driving the continued growth of Wasatch North and supporting the company’s expanding food & nutritional businesses.

    When he’s not managing production flow and operational metrics, Nick can usually be found finding ways to improve systems, streamline processes, or convincing himself that one more spreadsheet will somehow solve everything. Manufacturing people really do love spreadsheets an alarming amount.

    With more than 25 years of experience at Wasatch Product Development, Tiffany has built a distinguished career marked by steady advancement, hands-on expertise, and strategic leadership. She began as a Lab Technician, gaining an understanding of product development before moving into procurement as a Buyer. Her dedication and drive propelled her through roles in purchasing and operations, ultimately leading to her current position as Vice President of Supply Chain. 

    Today, Tiffany leads a high-performing team focused on timely, efficient material delivery and trusted supplier partnerships that reinforce reliability, reduce risk, and support long-term customer success. Her decades of experience continue to shape a supply chain that is agile, resilient, and aligned with Wasatch’s evolving goals.

  • Bryan Wright - VP of Business Development at Wasatch Labs helping clients scale personal care manufacturing projects.

    Bryan Wright - VP of Business Development

    Bryan Wright is a growth-focused executive with a proven track record of turning complex challenges into multi-million-dollar opportunities across highly regulated industries. He currently serves as Vice President of Business Development and Strategy, bringing over 15 years of executive leadership in food, beverage, and nutritional supplement contract manufacturing, along with 10 years of experience in new business development within the medical device industry.

    With a unique blend of entrepreneurial vision and operational discipline, Bryan has played a central role in launching and scaling consumer brands that have generated over $1 billion in global revenue. 

    Specializing in new business development, go-to-market strategy, and sales execution, Bryan has built a reputation for transforming ideas into thriving businesses. His work spans start-ups, turnarounds, and high-growth enterprises—leading them through capital raises, complex supply chain buildouts, and high-velocity brand launches.

    Bryan holds a Bachelor of Science in International Relations from the University of Utah and an MBA from Texas A&M University.

    Outside of work, Bryan enjoys running, golf, playing the guitar, coaching little league football, and traveling with his wife and three children. He remains passionate about building scalable businesses, mentoring future leaders, and shaping the future of innovation in the health, wellness, and nutrition space.

    Douglas Greer, VP of Warehouse, Inventory & IT

    Doug Greer is the Vice President of Warehouse, Inventory Control & Information Systems at Wasatch Product Development—though he prefers to think of himself as the company’s human firewall. From overseeing inventory accuracy to managing ERP systems and safeguarding sensitive data, Doug ensures the physical and digital logistics of Wasatch run with near-zero downtime and maximum nerdiness.

    A self-proclaimed IT purist, Doug is known for his strict no-leaks, no-loose-ends, no-fun-with-passwords policy. He’s asked the rest of the leadership team (repeatedly) not to share any personal information—just in case the walls have ears… or unsecured Wi-Fi. He believes in two things: redundancy in your backups and discretion in your Slack channels.

    Doug may live in a world of barcodes, batch records, and encrypted networks, but he’s the reason everything behind the scenes stays organized, online, and virus-free. You won’t find him oversharing on social media—but you might catch him stress-testing the office router… for fun.

    Randy Griffiths serves as Vice President of Engineering and Maintenance at Wasatch Product Development, where he leads all engineering operations, equipment strategy, facility maintenance, and capital improvement initiatives. With more than 25 years of experience in manufacturing and facilities management, Randy ensures that Wasatch’s infrastructure supports world-class production, compliance, and innovation.

    Randy brings deep expertise in equipment design, process optimization, preventive maintenance, and cross-functional leadership. He has successfully led large-scale facility expansions, implemented lean and Six Sigma principles, and driven continuous improvement across engineering and operations teams.

    Calm under pressure and meticulous by nature, Randy is known for his ability to balance operational demands with long-term strategic planning. Whether he's troubleshooting a production line or future-proofing a facility, Randy’s work ensures that Wasatch runs efficiently—day in and day out.

    Despite being relentlessly practical in the workplace, Randy has been known to start spirited debates over the best tools, torque specs, or tailgate setups.

Outside of work, she enjoys hiking with her family, caring for animals, and nurturing a garden that’s always a work in progress—proving that growth, in any form, takes patience and persistence.

He’s known for being driven, motivated, and focused. He thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in delivering value and exceeding goals.

    He is passionate about connecting with customers and building long-term partnerships. He is always excited to tackle new challenges and bring innovative solutions to the table. Outside of work, you’ll find him cycling or exploring the mountains with his family—recharging and staying sharp for whatever comes next.

    Kiya has successfully led and delivered multimillion-dollar projects and is known for her ability to drive complex initiatives from concept through execution.     She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering and is a published author in the Journal of Chemical Engineering. Kiya is passionate about helping clients navigate technical challenges, develop effective solutions, and achieve long-term success.

Her background in quality gives her a unique edge: she understands what it takes to deliver not just service, but substance.

    A natural problem-solver and trusted partner to clients, Lizette keeps the Customer Care team running smoothly and every project on track—no matter how complex the request or tight the timeline.
